Genesis
D.A.V. Police Public School is an English Medium, Co-Educational, to be affiliated to C.B.S.E., New Delhi up to X. The School is one of the brilliant beads in the chain of more than 700 Educational Institutions managed by D.A.V. Organization. The School was started in 2016 as a result of an agreement between Haryana Police and D.A.V. Organization. Public School can proudly announce itself as the citadel of learning and enlightenment. Besides quality education, the School has well defined aims of developing a spirit of inquiry and rational thinking among the students to enable them to become useful citizens in the fabric of society.
School Building
The School is situated in the New Police Lines, Nuh on Delhi Alwar Highway in a beautifully designed triple storey building. Marvellous landscaping and a number of environment projects are added in the campus to create the awareness for preservation and conservation of natural resources. The Class-rooms are spacious, well-ventilated and well lit. Separate rooms have been provided for various activities like Library, Art and Craft, Indoor Games, Activity Room, Music Room, etc.
The admission in the School is given to the wards of the employees of the Police Department posted anywhere in Haryana, the wards of the teachers working in the School and the wards of the general public. Out of the total seats, 60% seats are reserved for the wards of Police employees and teachers on merit and 40% are open to the general public on merit.
